What is IELTS for UKVI?

IELTS for UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration) is a Secure English Language Test (SELT) approved by the UK Home Office for visa and immigration applications to the United Kingdom.

The test content is the same as standard IELTS, but it is delivered in approved test centers with additional security measures to meet UK Home Office requirements. Your results are reported on the same 9-band scale and include a UKVI unique reference number.

Important: If you are applying for a UK visa, you MUST take the IELTS for UKVI test, not the standard IELTS Academic or General Training.
